Indian festival screening more than 40 Iranian films

The 9th International Children’s Film Festival is screening a lineup of more than 40 Iranian films.

The 9th International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF) has been screening a lineup of more than 40 Iranian short films.

The Indian event, started on April 5th, has screened ‘Father & Son’ by Masoud Noori, ‘The Kites Without Wind’ by Salem Salavati, ‘Night Night’ by Golnaz Moghaddam, ‘Identity’ by Behrooz Sebt-Rasoul, ‘The Wind Suddenly’ by Edris Samani, ‘Smiley’ by Shahin Hekmatkhah, and ‘What about Me’ by Sahra Assadollahi on the first day.

The second day saw screening of ‘Anaa’ by Asal Gharib, ‘The World Upside Down’ by Midia Kiasat and Fateh Shafei, ‘The Balloon’ by Saeed Karami, ‘Nowruz’ by Mohammad-Hadi Khosrokiani, ‘Remain Rain’ by Hossein Zeynali, ‘Ziba’ by Mojtaba Kuhkan, ‘Just This Once’ by Mohammad-Hassan Shahmohammadi, ‘The Knit Doll’ by Ezzatollah Parvazeh, and ‘Impressions of Life’ by Ehsan Masoom.

‘Stripy’ by Babak Nekooei and Behnoud Nekooei, ‘A Little Joy’, ‘Help’ and ‘It's Time To Sleep’ by Mahnaz Yazdani, ‘A Solution’ by Fazlollah Tari, ‘He’ by Leila Tabrizi, ‘Girl’ by Erfan Ehteshami, ‘Cradle’ by Zanyar Lotfi, ‘Stuttering’ by Mansooreh Mir-Moarab and ‘An Angel in My Home’ by Solmaz Sedghi were screened on the third day, April 7.

The fourth day, April 8, was the show time for ‘Trace’ by Ehsan Masoom, ‘Track’ by Reza Golchin, ‘Fitting Room’ by Soheil Soheili, ‘The Sea Won't Forget That Day’ by Mohammad-Reza Moayedi, ‘White’ by Simin Farrokh-Ahmadi, and ‘Taste of Coconut’ by Masoumeh Jomhouri.

‘Laleh Complex’ by Komeil Soheili, ‘Classmate’ by Mehrdad Eqbali, ‘Father & Son’ by Masoud Nouri, ‘Kurdwan’ by Arvin Vatandoust, ‘Fan’ by Ali Delkari and ‘Still Life by Mehdi Shiri are on screen on the fifth day of the event.

ICFF is a non-commercial and nonprofit organization, working only for the promotion of educational films and the art of filmmaking.

The sole purpose of this festival is to promote entertaining, educative cinema among young audiences and to explore the possibilities of using the visual medium as a tool for better entertaining, educational, material, human and spiritual growth.

This edition of the Indian event will conclude on April 13.
